Using the Generic Learning Outcomes to plan and capture your impact
Taking place in-person at the Library of Birmingham
on Tuesday 10 November 2026 from 11am to 4pm.
This practical session will introduce the Generic Learning Outcomes (GLOs) framework, as a flexible tool for understanding the wider learning and engagement impact of archive projects, from changes in knowledge and skills to attitudes, behaviours, creativity and sensory engagement.
Participants will explore how to:
· plan activities with clear outcomes in mind,
· gather meaningful qualitative evidence, and
· map that evidence to the GLOs for use in evaluation reports, future funding applications and advocacy work.
